Randy Mason, Partner, Director of Research

Randy MasonRandy is a Partner and Director of Research at ThinkPanmure. Previously, he served as a senior sales trader at ThinkPanmure. Prior to ThinkPanmure, Randy was a Partner at Wessels, Arnold & Henderson (WAH), an investment banking boutique focused exclusively on growth stocks. After the sale of WAH to Dain Rauscher, Randy created Bayview Partners, where he served as General Partner. Prior to joining WAH, Randy headed the Lehman Brothers Chicago office. Randy began his institutional sales career at Dain Bosworth in 1990. There he created the first Sales team and pushed to move the entire sales force to a teach approach. Randy received his BA and his MBA from the University of Minnesota.

Michael Armstrong, Managing Director, Associate Director of Research

Michael ArmstrongMichael is a Managing Director and Associate Director of Research. He was formerly in Equity Research at Merrill Lynch & Co. in San Francisco, where he was a member of the Global Growth Group, covering small and mid-cap growth stocks. Mike was previously a research associate at Montgomery Securities in the Growth Stock Strategy group, focused on identifying emerging trends and industries and was also actively involved in the creation of the Montgomery Growth Index. Mike earned his BA in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley in 1995.

Suresh Balaraman, Partner, Semiconductor Equipment Research and Head of ThinkPanmure India

Suresh BalaramanSuresh is a Partner and a Senior Research Analyst focusing on Semiconductor and Flat Panel Capital Equipment. He joined ThinkPanmure in October of 2002. Previously, he worked as a Research Analyst at Robertson Stephens and as an associate at Adams, Harkness and Hill covering Semiconductor Equipment and Foundries segment. Prior to his Wall Street tenure, Suresh spent four years in the semiconductor industry in engineering and management positions. Suresh received an MBA in Finance from Columbia University, New York and an MS in Materials Science from Rice University, Houston, TX. William S. Morrison, Partner, Internet & Online Media Research

William S. MorrisonBill Morrison joined ThinkPanmure in September 2007 and is currently a Partner covering the Internet and online media sectors. Prior to joining ThinkPanmure, Bill worked at JMP Securities Inc. as a Senior Analyst covering the Internet and online media sectors from 2005 - present. Before JMP, Bill was a member of Citigroup Smith Barney's U.S. Equity Research Department following the Internet, online media and eCommerce stocks from 2002 until joining JMP. In both 2003 and 2004, Citigroup Smith Barney's coverage of the sector was ranked second by Institutional Investor in the magazine's annual review of sellside U.S. equity research providers. Prior to 2002, Bill worked at Bowman Capital Management, where he evaluated late stage venture capital investments in the Internet, telecommunications and enterprise software industries. Additionally, Bill was a co-founder of PlatinumHealth.com, a healthcare application service provider, and was Director of Business Development for Eagle River Interactive, which provided Internet design, development and systems integration services. Bill holds a M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from Colgate University.

Nathan SwansonNate is a Partner and Senior Software Analyst following the Knowledge and Human Capital Management industry. Atul Bagga, Vice President, Application Software Research

Atul BaggaAtul joined ThinkPanmure in February 2006 a is currently Vice-President of the Application Software Research Team. Prior to joining ThinkPanmure, Atul worked in business development with Ideate, an Autodesk Channel Partner. Jonathan HoopesJonathan joined ThinkPanmure in June 2005 as Managing Director. He is head of Greentech research. Formerly, Jonathan was Next-gen Computing & Communications Analyst. Before joining ThinkPanmure, Jonathan focused on Technology at WmSmith & Co. and covered IT Hardware, Software and Services at UBS as Associate Director. He also covered Oil and Gas Exploration and Production at Salomon Smith Barney and PaineWebber as an Associate Research Analyst. Jonathan began his sell-side career at Goldman Sachs in Sales and later moved to the Equity Capital Markets desk of Deutsche Bank, both in Hong Kong. Eric KainerEric joined ThinkPanmure in 2006, and is a Principal in Research focusing on networking and communications. He came to ThinkPanmure from Needham & Company, where he covered communications companies. Prior to Needham, Eric advised entrepreneurial companies on strategy and finance. Before that he served as a senior manager at AT&T (later Lucent) in a number of international sales, business development, and marketing roles. The initial stages of Eric's career were spent in software R&D and computer sales with the former Data General (now part of EMC), and as a market analyst at IDC. Eric earned his MBA from Wharton, and his BSE in Computer Science & Engineering from UConn.

Michael LewMichael joined ThinkPanmure in October 2005 as Vice President. Prior to joining, Michael was a Senior Analyst focusing on Enterprise & PC Hardware and broad-line distribution at UBS. David Woodburn, Principal, GreenTech Research: Biofuels And Water Resources

David WoodburnDavid Woodburn joined the GreenTech research team in 2008, focusing on next-generation biofuels and water resources. Prior to ThinkPanmure, Vijay was the lead semiconductor analyst at Oppenheimer for almost 3 years, and before that held research associate positions at Investec Ernst and Piper Jaffray. Before starting his 7 year Wall Street career, Vijay worked in the semiconductor industry for 6 years at International Rectifier Corp where he held engineering and management positions in the power IC Fab in El Segundo, California. Vijay is a graduate of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), has a Masters in Materials Science from the University of Florida, Gainesville and an MBA (Finance) from the Anderson School, UCLA.

Rajesh is a Vice President and Senior Research Analyst focused on the data storage and networking sector.
