ThinkEquity announces new hires to further strengthen research team
SAN FRANCISCO, 28 April, 2010 — ThinkEquity LLC, a leading investment banking boutique focused on growth companies and their investors, today announces the hire of four new analysts. These hires bring a combined 76 years of research experience to ThinkEquity.
Commenting on the hires, ThinkEquity chief executive, Greg Wright, said: “We are delighted to have added these four outstanding professionals to our research team. Technology Analysts:
- Krishna Shankar: Mr Shankar joins ThinkEquity’s Semiconductor team from JMP Securities and previously Salomon Brothers, Needham & Co., and Banc of America Securities.
- Daniel Cummins: Mr Cummins joins the Internet team covering communications including mobile applications, communications and design software. Mr Cummins joins ThinkEquity from Soleil Securities, and previously Bank of America and UBS.
- Shawn Severson: Mr Severson joins the CleanTech team with a focus on smart industrials including natural gas and water infrastructure. He joins ThinkEquity from Robert W. Baird in London and previously Raymond James and EVEREN Securities.
Consumer Analyst:
- Mark Mandel: Mr Mandel continues the build out of the consumer group with a focus on specialty retailing. Mr Mandel joins ThinkEquity from FTN Equity Capital Markets and previously Pacific Growth Equities and Salomon Brothers.
